Joanna McClure’s Still Lifes

We came across the work of Joanna McClure, and fell in love with the simplicity and dynamism of her Paper Abstraction, Synesthesia, and Ghosts Series.  McClure has a way with composition, and we love the way the negative space interacts with her punctuating colors.  Her Paper Abstraction series, seen below, sends our TrendRadar to its max.  A cool palette, experimentation with shapes and forms, and mono chromaticism: all things we love!
