
Jesús Alonso is one of the most cutting-edge Spanish photographers. He has published in magazines with large productions such as Vogue, Elle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan or Esquire and many others. He also has extensive experience in the world of advertising and cinema, where he worked with John Malkovich and Vicente Aranda or Javier Bardem.

The photograph chosen for the FESTIVAL uses sharp lines and perspectives, context, dry and hard, perfect for framing the fragility and power of the model reveals an impossible relationship indifferent to its environment.
These days in Cannes, and until August 28, fashion photography and beauty emerges from the pages of magazines to feel the fresh air, gardens, avenues and squares of the town of the Costa Azul, which will be illustrated illuminated by this exhibition of large format one more year in its three major events: Palm Beach Casino (1 July to 28 August) Roseraie Croisette (from June 15 to August 15) and Rue D’Antibes (the July 1 to August 15).

Spanish photographer Jesús Alonso, has been selected to participate in the 9th International Fashion & Beauty Photography Festival in Cannes. His picture (see below) selected by the curator of the exhibition is part of the fashion editorial, published in the Romanian edition of Elle Magazine in 2008. According to Alonso “this recognition is the most special than I had in my career. The International Fashion & Beauty Photography Festivals doesn’t recognizes a single photography, but the journey and the whole work of a photographer. “

I like it. And it grabbed your attention esp. if you posted a comment below. whether you love it or hate I don't see anything where it promotes violence or degrading women.. what i see is government taking away the rights of a citizen n the rights away from people. Failure to follow instructions will land us in prison like the model. Now if steven photographed the same concept with average shmucks would we pay much attention to it? i dont think so. it'd be just another political journalistic photograph.3
