The dress is called “The Elizabeth” and is entirely hand-knitted in 100% by Jemma Sykes certified organic wool. It was created for ethical fashion label Butcher Couture and the images in the post are from the album artwork of Maria Mena- Cause and Effect. I was displayed at Harrods until the dress was auctioned off at a breast cancer charity event.
Jemma Sykes is an award winning knitwear designer and a graduate from the Royal College of Art. This dress seems to have been a bit of a love hate topic that I have covered in the past on my own blog but I personally Absolutely love it.

Are you serious? I'm usually a fan of the stuff you put up here, but just cause she's a friend of Trendland doesn't mean you have to be completely uncritical about this commercial. The objectification of the woman, and also the patronizing of the men, is so sad to me.. it's like a commercial from the 50's?? For Samsung to promote a Smart TV with such a medieval view on gender roles.. I guess the only smart thing about this really is the TV..8
