Jeff Kauck, is a local Chicago photographer who is taking the culinary photography world by storm with his unique approach and unmatched photographs. His background and education as a watercolorists has set the groundwork for his unique technique to photography allowing him to hone his skills of understanding light and color early on and inevitably proving that his images look different that anyone else’s.
In an age where the world is obsessed with documenting their dining experiences, Jeff Kauck has developed a special relationship with some of the world’s most talented and skilled chefs including Tony Mantuano of Spiaggia, Grant Achatz of Alinea, Wylie Dufresne of WD-50 and Ryan Poli of Perennial, to name a few—proving the importance that tasteful and remarkable images have to influential chefs and their food.
