The 20 year old, psych-pop songwriter Jackson Scott has been recording since high school from his Asheville, North Carolina home.

With tracks never released and no internet marketing, he introduced himself early this summer with the album “Melbourne“,via Fat possum. There’s a prevalence of female names in his song titles, Syd Barrett is his idol, and he used to pretend to live in a William Blake poem. Although being considered an indie act; he claims not to be a particular fan, he’d rather be listening to Mariah Carey’s “Fantasy”. Well, a quite interesting soul worth following!
