Formed by two Parisian boys, Nicolas Sirkis and Dominique Nicolas, the roots of Indochine lie in a newspaper advertisement placed by Sirkis promptly answered by Nicolas.
The band was appointed the essence of French New Wave, delighting critics and audience with their melancholy yet contagious electro-pop. With nearly twenty full-length albums to their credit, they have sold around 10 million records, making them the best-selling French band of all time.
People from France, Luxembourg, Monaco, Belgium and beyond were raised listening to Indochine, they called it “Indomania”. Every single person who lived their teens in the 80’s knows how to sing this song by heart.
