I

was lucky enough to be invited by Bentley to Apsen during Aspen Fashion Week for an amazing long weekend of test driving, snow racing, good eats and drinks, and a little bit of partying (Aspen night life is just not super happening). The minute we arrived at the Aspen airport we were accommodated by a Bentley driver, bringing us to the St Regis Hotel in a Mulsanne. It was my first experience in a Bentley. What I noticed right away was the beauty and finishing of the interior and dashboard detailing (it takes 3 months to achieve the right polishing and color of the wood on the dashboard), and the sitting comfort (the seat blows fresh air through the leather).

After meeting the Bentley crew and other fellow Journalist/Bloggers (Acquire Mag, Gear Patrol, Honestly WTF, Playboy, Motor Trend, Marcus Troy Experience, PSFK and Intersection), we enjoyed half a day of snowboarding and couple of great restaurants, then it was off to test drive the ‘babies’. Each of us drove and co-piloted the Continental GTC, the Continental Flying Spur Speed and the Mulsanne. We also did a couple laps on the snow with professional drivers from the Bentley team in the Continental Supersports ISR.

After all the adrenaline of high-speed driving, we appreciated a snowmobile ride through the forest to get to the Klondike Cabin, where we had a great BBQ lunch, in the middle of nowhere.

For the last night, we all took pleasure in a trip to the Aspen Mountain Club for a private dinner, followed by a Bentley film screening (watch below). Hosted by Christophe Georges, President of Bentley Motors (US) and Graeme Russell, Bentley’s Head of PR & Communications.

The overall trip was a lot of fun and exciting. I’m kind of hooked to the Bentley driving experience now and I guess I will have to own one, one day (hopefully we’ll get a good hook up by the Bentley team =)

A big Thank you to Bentley Motors
