Italian label Iceberg’s Spring 2014 runway show was fresh, clean, and classic with a Japanese touch. Newly appointed creative director Alexis Martial, who previously worked at Givenchy, is taking the brand in an entirely new direction and has a clear point of view. The collection was lighter, both in color and textile choice, than previous shows, and presented innovative garments like organza pullovers, tailored origami-like skirts, futuristic knitwear, and leather lace-up shoes. Iceberg’s aesthetic will surely continue to transform under the Martial’s creative control.
