Railway tunnels turn into London’s first indoor skatepark as part of Vans’ latest exciting project. The famous Old Vic Tunnels under Waterloo station have recently re-opened as the House of Vans.
The space, which is spread across 5 tunnels, offers a rich mix of urban attractions including a skatepark, music venue, cinema and art gallery. For at least 3 years Vans will use the space to curate cultural and creative activities.The brand’s presence is nicely integrated in the surroundings, with elements including Vans-themed murals painted by artists and floors featuring the iconic chequerboard pattern.
