This Fall, as we quickly say goodbye to the sizzling summer and welcome the crisp autumn breeze and colors, a headpiece is feeling increasingly au courant. House of Flora, a British design studio known for producing avant-garde headwear in materials such as PVC, perspex, leather, wood veneer, and steel, is hitting our mood perfectly with their geometric, ultra modern video, “Binary Bitch,” highlighting the S/S 2013 collection. Designed and produced by Flora McLean, it is a pleasure to see her show off her milliner skills after creating headpieces for the likes of Givenchy and Matthew Williamson. Obviously the Brits have long perfected this sensibility, and this collection is certainly not lacking in imagination. Miss En-Scene directs the film with music by Dan Lywood at Playlister.
