Hermione de Paula S/S 2013

Hermione de Paula is working around the clock these days. With her recent collaboration of heels for Nicolas Kirkwood, and her newest collection entitled “Jade’s Magicopolis”, it is no wonder why she is quickly rising in the fashion world.  She has earned her place working for the likes of Christian Dior Couture, John Galliano, and the late Alexander McQueen.  Her signature style is unusual hand painted floral prints on chiffon, and silk, with feminine layering, and as always HDP’s girl has panache, nothing is ever too over the top.

The newest collection has a more “pretty tomboyish” feel to it than previous collections, which exuded Hollywood glamour circa 1920s. With the addition of baseball caps, moto- jackets, trousers, and tank tops, the looks are still flowing and elegant, but the looks are a touch more urban. And it is still an impossible task for me to choose which look I like the best.
