Multidisciplinary designer Hedi Xandt deconstructed luxury perfumes for the second issue of TUSH Magazine last year. Shot by Stefan Vorbeck, the works show the source of each perfume’s scent. In contrast to today’s celebrity, image driven perfume marketing, which has a tendency to devalue high quality perfume, Xandt, who created the concept, styling, and art direction, focuses on the scientific and substantial content. Xandt cites the clean cut, scientific herbaria of the Botanical Garden Berlin-Dahlem as inspiration.
