Latvian-born, Amsterdam-based designer Germans Ermi?s has carefully mastered the craft of using color as a device to shape and create form.
The variations of his colored-glass creations range from ombre mirrors to gradient coffee tables and while the technicality of his work is hardly complex, he managed to create astounding results mainly by stretching, folding, and using color as a three dimensional shape. The project can be seen as a visual investigation into the relationship between color and shape, which now we know, are not mutually exclusive.
