After working as a freelance designer for many years, Marlene Huissoud started her own company in 2013. The French-born, British-based experimental designer investigates new ways to use natural waste. She processed durable natural elements like honeybees and silkworms or unwanted waste like oil leftovers into unique organic materials. The Central Saint Martin graduate believes in the value of the concept, she conceives sustainable material solutions of furniture and interior design.
