Stylist Elin Baarda and brother/photographer Wessel Baarda found themselves deep in a food experiment at the lab recently. Taking test tubes, lab coats and pill boxes, they created this clinical composition of food, where peas become tiny tablets and carrots grow out of a graduated cylinder.
Elin, who studies at Academie Artemis, a school solely for styling in Amsterdam, says her program covers four main disciplines: food, fashion, interior and media. We’re intrigued by such a studied approach to a creative industry, and the same could be said of this scientific stab at edibles.
