Japanese designer Satsuki Ohata has invented the “fondue slipper.” Inspired by cheese fondue, he molds a perfect shape of a wearer’s foot by dipping it in fast-drying liquid then solidifying with a blast from a regular blowdryer. Not for shy types, the colorful, washable slippers can be customised with permanent marker and even worn out of the house, Mr. Ohata claims.
