Brand new from Twigs, or FKA Twigs as she is now known, “Papi Pacify” should not be allowed to be listened to at the work place. That’s our advice.

Fleshly elements as well as a bit of aggressiveness starts to emerge as the song evolves. Dual elements is something observed on many London based artists. On her second EP, “EP2” Twigs made it clear her habit and ability of promoting dual feelings. On “Papi Pacify”, she longs for clarification from a lover whose commitment seems to not exist “Tell me you’re one that I can call, even if you choke”. There’s something beautiful about this line and at the same time as well as miserable. Definitely not an easy song.
