Apparently, David Chipperfield Architects, knows exactly which way is up when designing a totally stunning space that epitomizes understated luxury and absolute serenity.
In collaboration with 4SeasonsSpa, Chipperfield designed the Akasha Wellbeing Centre located at the historic hotel Cafe Royal on London`s Regent Street. The spa is open to hotel guests and private members, and offers natural therapies on two floors of minimalistic perfection.
What will you find there? A Carrara marble hammam and private hammam, a Finish sauna in solid hemlock with domed ceiling, a stainless steel jacuzzi and private jacuzzis made of solid marble in the treatment rooms. I’m not sure about you, but I think I’m feeling in need of a restorative vacation.
