We love this selection of drawings for “In the Cut”, a digital fashion column written by Harriet Walker for AnOther Magazine.  Taylor’s images combine austerity with feminine touch of 50s Hollywood glamor.  The illustrations are drawn with chalk pastels on newsprint paper.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

  • Mitchie

I don’t know… it fells like a young child drew them compared to all of the other talented fashion illustrations on this website.

  • http://trendland.com Cyril Foiret

Yes, we can see that as well, we hesitated before publishing it, but its the article of one of our contributor, so it might be normal if she has different taste.
Also if you look well on those illustrations, there is interesting details and you can see that the work is drawn by hand, which change from 90% of illustrator today that uses photoshop & illustrator.

Mitchie, that young child you have in mind must have a awful lot of talent… I think these drawings are amazing, they really get under my skin. Beautifully drawn and very imaginative. The pictures all carry story, they are much more than plain fashion illustrations.
