Erwin Olaf tapped into his dreams as surrealistic starting points for his latest series “Berlin”, on view now at New York’s Hasted Kraeutler Gallery, as well as in London at Hamilitons Gallery. The rich, multilayered images are united by Olaf’s studies on the theme of beauty. For this series, the master photographer traveled to the German capital to shoot inside noted buildings, many rife with notoriety. Artlog called the series “perfectly executed”.
