Another relatively new brand, Erdem, has shown us that talent comes in many forms. Erdem Moralioglu loves to put colors, textures and shapes together that are not supposed to gel, this rebelliousness a testament of his genius when looking at his finished product, mismatched, unconventional yet ladylike and very chic. Moralioglu’s technical prowess is one of his strong points, without this, the laces, appliqués and reptile prints on this seasons 1950’s silhouette would be too hard to pull off. A twisted and magical sense of color is the other strength, being one of the first to start this color/print craze pairing acid greens with pastels on lace next to prints next to prints……phew, now, that’s a handful, and pulling it off?? this is true talent…………
