Every single piece was casted in high-quality 316 stainless steel, hand-polished by craftsmen and finished with various colors. Each design contains a physical emptiness in its sculptural form, giving the metaphor that you can fill the space with your own memory.

Sharing the same interests about the collision of technology and craftsmanship, they ponder over the ultimate question ” what will happen if the technology becomes invisible. ”
They consider the Empty Memory collection as their first response to this long quest.

The collection comes with two different designs – Structure and Transparency, which are the results of two different approaches regarding the same concept by each designer.
The complicated shape of Structure can only be made with Lost-Wax Casting as an unibody.

The Lost-Wax Casting process is normally applied for industrial components; it is not easy to maintain high production volume while keeps the quality of craftsmanship.

After a long period of searching, one and only one manufacturer in Taiwan successfully achieved this high standard and this project is under production now.

Are you serious? I'm usually a fan of the stuff you put up here, but just cause she's a friend of Trendland doesn't mean you have to be completely uncritical about this commercial. The objectification of the woman, and also the patronizing of the men, is so sad to me.. it's like a commercial from the 50's?? For Samsung to promote a Smart TV with such a medieval view on gender roles.. I guess the only smart thing about this really is the TV..8
A great work i loved the post.9
