Despite all feelings of fear or industry recession KZO continues to build on its aesthetic in a very aggressive way. Better fabrics, more tailoring, and a deeper range. There are no signs of uncertainty in this Joel K’s collection for AW09. Full throttle development is what I like to call it. In a time where people are afraid to allocate dollars, basic is no longer safe. People are looking for smart, timeless design and KZO has truly delivered this for their upcoming season. Its hard to tell in the “Hallowed Ground” photos how intricate the finishes and fabrication on each of these garments are but once you get your hands on this collection there will be no doubt in your mind.
