It all starts with is a story, a concept, then a design takes shape and a function is assigned. With a background in visual art and specialization in design and design research, Nel Verbeke is primarily a concept designer with a great sensibility towards imagination, visualization and research. Props is a designed response, a modular furniture system that explore the emotional potential of shape and space, putting the user at the center of reflection. Nel Verbeke designed 3 manuals to guide him. He chooses and arrange these interior elements into new settings. In this way he has the freedom to shape the space into a more humane environment.
