Powdery dizzy slopes, hard veins and tremendous structured steps are so much words to describe the mesmerizing marble quarries of Carrara in Tuscany. French photographer Virginie Khateeb was able to bring the energy out of this raw subject through her series ‘Deconstruction’ for Yet Magazine, full of mastered contrasts. The distinctive feature of the site is its constant evolution because of the marble quarrying, especially valued for its whiteness.
