Love This Giant (to-be-released September 11th) is the fruit of a collaboration two years in the making, and “Who” is the first to jump of the 12 track album–complete with 2 track from each artist, respectively. The single plays with a jazz-inspired saxophone, marching band drums, a Charlie Brown-esque piano, and of course a electric guitar solo by Clark’s talented hands. It is only fair to mention the obvious Byrne influence of the album. Nevertheless, it is a duo representation of modern avant-garde and its roots in New Wave.
The pair will debut performances this coming fall, and give bereaved Talking Heads fans something to talk about again. Get tickets early, and a free download of “Who,” here.

There is safety in numbers, indeed, as much as there is safety in solidarity. There is certainly safety in St. Vincent‘s quirky singer-songwriter, Annie Clark keeping it quirky with the king of weird, Talking Heads’ front man, David Byrne. If you are going to get weird, do it with a man who made weird cool.

beautiful work! posters for posterity!2
I like it. And it grabbed your attention esp. if you posted a comment below. whether you love it or hate I don't see anything where it promotes violence or degrading women.. what i see is government taking away the rights of a citizen n the rights away from people. Failure to follow instructions will land us in prison like the model. Now if steven photographed the same concept with average shmucks would we pay much attention to it? i dont think so. it'd be just another political journalistic photograph.3
i agree4
