Modern Art at VersaillesBY Michele Llanos / Aug 06 12 @ 3:52 AM
I thought I’d do a piece on the incredible modern art collection at Le Chateau de Versailles. I have always had an affinity to the beautiful juxtaposition of old and new living together symbiotically, creating imagery that evokes memory through history and emotion, and hope through a context of new creative thought processes. Placing a

Geoffrey Farmer at Documenta 13BY Michele Llanos / Aug 01 12 @ 6:20 AM
I got a chance to visit Documenta 13 (100 days, 200 artists and 400 paintings) while in Germany, but because it is so spread out, it was impossible to see everything. I did however, get a chance to see Geoffrey Farmer‘s “Leaves of Grass” exhibit at the Neue, an amazing fete, completely engrossing, a piece which [...]

‘Who Shot Rock & Roll’ at The Annenberg Space for PhotographyBY Guest Blogger / Jun 22 12 @ 10:22 AM
Photo by Max Vadukul Written by Luiza De Moraes Campos Music, one could say, is a matter of the eardrums. Yet, what would Madonna’s “Like A Virgin” sound like without the legendary images of her in that punk-styled wedding dress, wild locks whipping about as she erotically humps the stage? What you hear is what [...]

beautiful work! posters for posterity!2
I like it. And it grabbed your attention esp. if you posted a comment below. whether you love it or hate I don't see anything where it promotes violence or degrading women.. what i see is government taking away the rights of a citizen n the rights away from people. Failure to follow instructions will land us in prison like the model. Now if steven photographed the same concept with average shmucks would we pay much attention to it? i dont think so. it'd be just another political journalistic photograph.3
