Continental Bounce by Magda Biernat
I just discovered the commercial work of Polish photographer Magda Biernat on our latest TrendHome review. The architecture & interior photographer has also some gorgeous travel photographs that she shot for her series called ‘Continental Bounce’. Visiting 17 countries during her one year travel, Biernat used about 160 rolls of 120 film witch is about 2000 frames. In this selection of photos, she has found common patterns that emerge in the variety of textural landscapes through which they traveled. What emerges is a quiet and often intimate reflection of the similarities of lives and landscape around the world. Her book is for sale between $50 to $60 here

Are you serious? I'm usually a fan of the stuff you put up here, but just cause she's a friend of Trendland doesn't mean you have to be completely uncritical about this commercial. The objectification of the woman, and also the patronizing of the men, is so sad to me.. it's like a commercial from the 50's?? For Samsung to promote a Smart TV with such a medieval view on gender roles.. I guess the only smart thing about this really is the TV..8
