Hyper-organized chaos is Rei Kawakubo's signature method of design. She always finds some new way to deconstruct the most basic garment and turn it into a work of art. For Comme Des Garcons SS 2011 there were a lot of spare sleeves and asymmetry which in conjunction with the styling of the girls hair and make-up really eluded to a trip to the mental ward. If these first looks did not give you that same feeling thanthe closing of the show with the two girls wearing the same dress and seamed together by a third one, should have sealed the deal. Now there's some creepy split personality shit for ya!

Not so much on those photos, but in the ones of style.com we can see the effect Kawabuko tried to achieve, in my opinion. As the girls were the reflex of each other. It’s simply beautiful.
