    VERY exciting!!

For all you ‘limited-edition junkies’ out there, here’s something for you: Comme des Carrés, a silk scarf collection from Commes des Garcons’ Rei Kawakubo and Hermès’ women’s universe artistic director Bali Barret.  The first run of scarves, available at limited CDG locations, are black-and-white, while part 2, to be available starting April 1 at London and Tokyo’s Dover Street Markets, feature playful color and pattern combinations.

 

Recently, as part of the collaboration, the 22nd street Chelsea Comme des Garçons swanked out its interiors for a celebratory party, just a stones throw from the nearby Basquiat opening.
