When you manage to make people forget the classic and timeless status of an iconic item and give a whole new perspective to it, then you got yourself a successful campaign. For its S/S ’13 debut collection of mens’ shirts, french brand Coltesse focuses on details, shapes and Japanese fabrics. The art direction of the catalogue’s 4 diptychs was courtesy of the Parisian collective Le Creative Sweatshop and shot by Mathieu Missiaen; a collaboration that fulfilled our aesthetic appetite and achieved what a debut collection needs: a great first impression.
