We love the brightly colored finishes on these unique pieces of furniture. Jo Nagasaka, an architect from Schemata Architects, designed this gorgeous collection of wood furniture, entitled “ColoRing”. In this collection Nagasaka uses an increasingly technique entitled udukuri, which consists of polishing wood with a brush to scrape off soft tissue revealing the coarse grain pattern beneath. Nagasaka then used left over paint, that was laying around that would otherwise been disposed of, to finish off each piece, giving each and every one a unique look.
