Clark Goolsby’s Mixed Media Work

Collages composed with neon, geometric and surrealistic pieces can describe Clark Goolsby’s mixed media works. Two dimensions is not the only surface he works with, brave installations such as Dead Man or compositions reminding of children’s playground are the other examples. This innocence is also reflected in the simplicity of the forms and lively colors in his paintings, where he still sustains the complexity with the combination of layers and details in the finished works. His take on the visual arts speaks of street-art, cubist works and the stylistic features of the ‘90s.
