In 2008 Christopher Raeburn launched his coveted, street smart brand; a capsule collection of outerwear made from recycled British Army parachute nylon. What has ensued since his a steady and calculated progression of a brand that now includes separates and dresses, all utilitarian, smart and ultra wearable. Although this collection’s pieces are  still made with his signature parachute nylon and ribbon, he has also experimented with a laminated lace (water resistant) and a great print of 1950’s flight maps, which integrate with such strong grace and style, I can only imagine how this diversification will translate to the customer base. These materials may seem too stiff for ready to wear, but the reality is quite the opposite, they move beautifully and look chic and smart. At this pace, Raeburn’s innovative pieces will be ruling the streets in no time.
