Chelsea Bravo’s ‘Dysfunction’ Collection

Chelsea Bravo Dysfunction Lookbook

London-based menswear designer Chelsea Bravo’s presents her collection, ‘Dysfunction’, inspired by “dysfunctional emotion, geometric architecture including the work of artist/architeft Junya Ishigam, and Central African dress”. To round out the theme of Central African dress, predominately natural fabrics such as lines and cottons are used, as is a palette of beige, cream, grey and white. Metallic coated cotton and reflective techno accents are utilized to “bring modernity and freshness”. After interning for Christopher Shannon and Martine Rose, Chelsea went on to found her own menswear line, celebrating contemporary design with creative cutting techniques, traditional dress from different cultures and mixing it with urban influences. Our verdict? ‘Dysfunction’ is a really exciting start for this promising new label!
