If you thought the fashion industry was wasteful, feast your eyes on this production. Karl Lagerfeld is known for this massive Fashion Week productions for Chanel realized by none other than master of craft, Etienne Russo. For the Chanel Fall/Winter 2014/15 runway they turned the Grand Palais into a shopping center with all custom branded products, beyond anything you could imagine.
Models strode down the aisles of the CHANEL Shopping Center, sneakers on feet and shopping baskets in leather-interlaced chains or quilted trolleys in hand.
It took at least forty-five minutes just to get people to sit down at their seats because they couldn’t resist wandering through the shopping aisles, feasting their eyes on product, glorious product.
