Bob Noto is a special kind of food photographer. A passionate gourmand with an appreciation for haute-cuisine. A talent who travels the globe eating and photographing some of the most iconic and gorgeous dishes from the finest of restaurants. He has been involved in the esteemed Cook it Raw event and can claim to have tried 1,200 of Ferran Adrià’s dishes and dined at elBulli almost 90 times! Yes, those things are pretty declaratory of all of his recognition but what really caught my eye was his casting-off of traditional food styling and sets. Noto captures the true essence of each dish as soon as it comes out of the kitchen. He respects the artistry of the chef and complements their work through his lens. He is a master of catching that perfect moment where all of the senses are driven mad, and you can’t wait another second to try that delicious morsel.
