Designed by Kolman Boye Architects, the Vega Cottage is a small house located on the island of Vega in the Norwegian archipelago, not far from the polar circle.
With large windows and robust structure, the cottage is built to suit its surroundings of the grand and harsh northern landscape. The Swedish architecture firm wanted the cottage to seemingly grow out from the solid terrain, creating a balance between the jagged mountains and site of the Norwegian Sea.
