Seventy thousand trees were swept off the Northeast coast of Japan during the unforgettable tsunami of 2011. One solitary pine remains: a beacon of hope for revitalization. Japanese designer, Kota Kobayashi, places this pine in our palm with his refreshing micro-brew – Ippon Matsu (One Pine Tree). Stark and alluring, each bottle bears a script that narrates the story of the enduring tree. Not only beautiful but also benevolent, profits from the beer support reconstruction projects in Japan.
