Watch as a humble croissant transforms into a feast for the eyes. Pastry master Jordan Kahn creates this stunning display of flaky goodness. Assiette is the name of this clever stop motion picture created by multimedia artists Natasha Subramaniam and Alisa Lapidus. This star croissant was purchased from Thomas Kellar’s Bouchon Bakery in LA and enlightened by Kahn’s pastry technique. He used edible flowers, green tea, pistachio, pine needle and many more earthy ingredients. Kahn was inspired by the curly eccentricity of Salvador Dalí’s mustache.
