How to take an old house in the outskirts of Antwerp, do minimal renovation, and transform a classic interior into a fun and contemporary space. That was the job of Antwerp-based architecture studio Bovenbouw. In this small-budget renovation new ceilings were introduced, all painted in a different color to give individuality to each room. Designed with unique tiled floors, pops of color on pipes and windows is probably not how you would imagine a transit house, a place allowing temporary homeless people to reside here.
