I’m loving the “Flying Houses” series by French photographer Laurent Chehere. Inspired by the 19th and 20th arrondissement of Paris and more specifically the Belleville and Menilmontant neighborhoods, Chehere elevates architecture to a new level – literally. Elevating typical Parisians houses from the monotony of the congested streets to isolate them, becoming flying houses you can’t help but notice.
The photographs will be on display at Galerie Paris-Beijing from October 25th until December 4th, 2012 in Paris.
