Andreas Nicolas Fischer Procedural Landscapes

SCHWARM is a generative process.
The drawing agents behave according to a set of rules, but have a degree of autonomy. Each time the software is being run it produces an infinite sequence of unique images over time.

WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

Wow. The fact that there’s a possibility that the images used in the process haven’t been taken from our natural surroundings, make the series even more intriguing. A real delight to see, wish I could visit the display some time!

For German visual artist Andreas Nicolas Fischer, using one medium to display visual art is just not good enough, so instead Fischer has created multiple media pieces that will make you feel like your looking down on another world. Using custom software that uses a swarm of particles to gradually create an abstract composition based on a series of photographs. A beautiful and very visual results.
