One of the most thrilling feelings we, fashion writers/editors/lovers can experience happens when discovering a great designer. And even though it’s not that very hard finding a good one, it is quite challenging finding a designer that you can say while looking at his/her collection: “Wait, what.. what has he/she done here?” . And I can surely say that about Alan Taylor and his A/W 2013 collection called “Special Relativity”. Taylor, by redefining what has been a cornerstone to menswear design, set a new perspective to suits, coats and shirts. The inside has been turned out and the front has turned back as transparent layers, while a play of proportions spice up the black-n-grey color palette. Special enough, isn’t it?
