Proving the Swedes effortlessly cool status was ACNE’s Spring Summer ’14 collection. With a cool toned backdrop, Johnny Johnasson‘s recent collection was one minimalistic affair.
Soft shapes, tapered waists and light oversized fabrics sailed down the showroom in a muted palette of creamy whites, silver accents and pops of canary yellow. Taking inspiration from the coast line, the crisp collection had a nautical flair with turned up buckets hats, light mac inspired outerwear, bold horizontal stripes and exaggerated rows of buttons. With an array of lust worthy separates such as silk shirts and swinging jackets sauntering down the catwalk, ACNE’s S/S ’14 collection proved they had firmly set sail among their fashionable competitors.
