The accommodations offer simple luxury for cheap – from giant, airy deluxe rooms costing $250 USD a night, to more inexpensive options – nicknamed ‘band rooms’ for the touring band on a budget – which feature bunk beds and shared baths for only $95 USD. Each room features nuanced, botanical products from Malin+Goetz apothecary, and most have art by local and international artists. Room service and free wi-fi are available, too. And they also offer free rental bikes for getting around the city.
The team at Ace has also looked to local artists, suppliers and craftsmen for a mix of modern and vintage elements to create a distinctive Ace aesthetic while at the same time being a reflection of the locale. “We really wanted the hotel overall to reflect Portland and the Northwest,” Alex Calderwood explains.

Ace Hotel Portland is a small hotel built in 1912 in historical downtown Portland, Oregon, occupying an entire city block near the Pearl District. “We’re retaining as much of the historical character as possible,” Alex Calderwood explains, “and marrying it with clean lines,” to create a look he describes as “warm minimalism.” Features restored to their original beauty include polished wood paneling in the lobby, patterned mosaic-tiled flooring and ceiling moldings.

And it grabbed your attention esp. if you posted a comment below. whether you love it or hate I don't see anything where it promotes violence or degrading women.. what i see is government taking away the rights of a citizen n the rights away from people. Failure to follow instructions will land us in prison like the model.
