Everyday, after her day of work as art director at Kickstarter, Alex Proba takes 30 minutes of time to develop a poster. In this self-initiated project called “A Poster a Day”, Proba has challenged herself to to create something quickly and be happy with the result, rather than fixate on all the little details that we can spend ours tweaking. To date she has a collection of over 250 posters to look through.
It was challenging for me to do this at first and equally difficult to incorporate into my daily routine. Making a poster is now the last thing I do before I head to bed. It’s like brushing my teeth.
