Bernhard Lang’s aerial photographs, Mar del Plástico, show a birds eye view of humans’ interaction with landscapes. The panoramas are patterned with green houses and plastic foils; both of which are landmarks to the agricultural region of Almeria in Andalusia, Spain. Almeria is the largest area devoted to cultivation through the use of plastic foils. The photos offer a distanced perspective of the greenhouses, whose pastel palette gives the impression of a body of water carving through the surrounding nature.
