Last time we featured a series from Carl Kleiner, we loved it so much we wished for more, which is usually the case with the pioneering Swedish photographer.
In spirit of the holidaze, a very merry Christmas mix, with love, from us to you!
Carl Kleiner Lollipops series is an other pure visual treat! I just wish there were more!
By now you should our admiration for Swedish photographer Carl Kleiner. With color, food, geometry and subtle wit Kleiner and artist/ stylist Evelina Bratell created this editorial for Blend magazine in which they depict all sorts of food in their simplest form. Love it!
Swedish design office Kontor Kontur’s latest project is this very cool still life series of everyday objects describing the craftsmanship behind graphic and office work. The visual arrangements primarily office supplies, are placed into color themed composition, which remind me a lot of the very cool website Things Organize Neatly and Carl Kleiner latest editorial.
After the huge viral success with his ‘Homemade is Best‘ campaign for the Ikea’s cookbook, Carl Kleiner teams up with Ikea once again, but this time they asked Carl to, together with stylist Evelina Kleiner, put together and capture ways to spend the budget you get when you buy a kitchen at Ikea.
Take an awesome photographer (Carl Kleiner) and a creative Swedish fashion brand (Minimarket) and you have these original still life shots for their SS 2011 lookbook. The gorgeous results focus on the products with very minimal props. Also see their AW 2011 art video after the jump.
This work reminds me a little bit of the IKEA Cookbook shot by Carl Kleiner, but this beautiful and inspiring food photography was shot before the Ikea project by Marina Aurora.
Carl Kleiner was hired by IKEA to shoot the recipes for their new baking book called Hembakat är Bäst [Homemade is Best]. The amazing food styling has been created by Evelina Bratell. New York mag just wrote about it and gave credit to photographer, when I think the credit should definitely go to the stylist!
I thought these pictures needed to be in a separate post, since they are a totally different aesthetic from his still life photographs. Here you can have a look at the diary of Carl Kleiner, an inspiring range of photographic moments.
Carl Kleiner still life photography are superbly creative, even if its fashion, food or advertising, Carl has an impressive imagination. Be sure to check also his Diary photographs, those are pretty amazing as well!
