SAN BLAS ISLANDS

Welcome to Paradise !

Last week, after our Trendland presentation at Panama Influencer Week, I was lucky enough to visit The San Blas Islands of Panama (and get some amazing Drone footage! like the one you saw above)

San Blas is Home to the Kuna, an autonomous indigenous group who run San Blas with minimal interference from the national government. Actually, they were celebrating their 25 years of independence (from Panama) while I was there.

A magical trip at only 2 hours drive from Panama City. Upon arrival you are introduced to your Kuna guide who brings you around a few islands until you find the right one for you to settle on and drink Rum coconut water out of the coconut itself… With barely any reception and zero wifi, prepare for proper rest in paradise…

An archipelago comprising approximately 365 islands and cays, of which only 49 are inhabited. They lie off the north coast of the Isthmus of Panama, east of the Panama Canal.

“Imagine a turquoise archipelago with one island for every day of the year. With white sand and waving palms, these Caribbean islands cheat no one’s version of Paradise. ”
